The CRC1646-INF project is a part of the Collaborative Research Centre programme, specifically CRC1646 - Linguistic Creativity in Communication.
Project INF: User-oriented research infrastructure assisting linguistic data collection and (re-)use
The aim of the INF project is to establish an infrastructure consisting of two components. The first is a "wizard" that will assist researchers during the data collection planning phase, automatically generating customised, legally compliant consent forms for participants based on the specific requirements of the research endeavour. The second is a data management platform, where collected (meta)data will be imported. Within the platform, data are linked with each participant's specific consent forms, allowing researchers to view the extent of a participant's consent.
In addition to that, the INF project provides methodological and statistical support for all members of the CRC. INF will provide advice on all aspects of data collection, processing, editing, storage, and analysis. The project ensures that synergy potentials between the projects of the CRC are utilized and offers workshops on relevant topics.
